Leasing, made simple
In the Netherlands, offering a bike through the lease scheme is simple, cost-free for employers, and sits outside the work-related costs scheme (WKR). A smart, sustainable perk.
All-in for 36 months
The lease includes a full-service package for the entire term. Your team is covered for theft, damage, and always has access to roadside assistance. No surprises, just support.
Free for employers
As an employer, you can offer the bike plan at no cost to your business. You decide whether to contribute to the monthly lease or let employees cover it themselves, flexible either way.

Frequently asked questions
The bike plan is designed to keep things simple for you as an employer. There’s no administrative burden on your side. Our leasing partner provides a free online platform where you can manage everything in just a few clicks. It gives you a clear overview of your company and employees—and handles the paperwork for you.
If an employee leaves the company while still in a lease contract, the terms outlined in the signed addendum apply. This is the document the employee agrees to before selecting a Veloretti bike.
There are three options:
– The employee pays the remaining lease installments (excluding service and insurance).
– A colleague can take over the lease contract.
– The employee can transfer the lease to another employer already working with our leasing partner—or one willing to join.
Joining the lease plan as an employer is completely free. You choose how the plan is structured for your team. There are three options:
– Full lease costs: You cover the monthly lease. The employee pays only the 7% taxable benefit. This can be offered as a fringe benefit, from the mobility budget, or via the lease car budget.
– Partial contribution: You contribute a fixed amount each month. The rest is paid by the employee.
– No contribution: The employee pays the full lease cost via gross salary exchange. No cost for the company.
In all cases, the employee covers:
– The monthly lease cost (incl. service and maintenance)
– The 7% taxable benefit for private use
As the employer, your cost depends on whether or not you choose to contribute to the lease price.
Every Veloretti lease bike includes premium all-risk insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance—handled through our leasing partner. During the full lease term, the employee is covered for theft, damage, and ongoing maintenance.
Since 1 January 2020, the Dutch government has made it possible to offer the lease bike plan at no cost to employers. Key legal points:
1. The plan falls outside the work-related costs scheme (WKR).
2. Employees can exchange part of their gross salary for the lease cost, gaining a tax advantage.
3. A fixed 7% taxable benefit applies, allowing full private use of the bike.
