What are cookies?

1.1 Cookies are small text files that are sent to and stored on the device you use to visit our webshop or a third-party website, such as your smartphone, computer or tablet. When a cookie is stored on your device, your device can be recognized by the website you visit. In addition to cookies, we also use techniques that are similar and that can also help to recognize your device and collect information about your website visit, such as javascript and beacons.

1.2 Cookies generally have a limited validity from the moment they are placed on your device. After the validity period has expired, the cookie is automatically deleted by your browser. We use cookies with different validity periods. First, we may use cookies that are valid only for the duration of your browser session. These cookies are deleted immediately after you close the session. Secondly, we also use cookies that are stored longer, so that they can also be read during your next visit to our webshop or the website of a third party.

1.3 Insofar as we collect your personal data using cookies, we process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Statement.

1.4 In addition to our own cookies, we also use third-party cookies on our webshop. We have no control over the privacy and cookie policies of these third parties and are not responsible for them. These third parties use your data for their own purposes, such as tracking your internet behavior and tracking your interests.

2.1 Most browsers are set by default to automatically accept the use of cookies. You can adjust this. You can set your browser so that no cookies are stored on your device, so that you can allow or refuse any cookie - of your choice - or that all cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

2.2 For certain cookies, we may only place them if you have given your prior consent. We will then only use these cookies if you have given permission for this. You give your consent by clicking on agree on the cookie notification (Cookie Banner) on the landing page (homepage) of our webshop. You can withdraw your consent at any time by going to the cookie settings at the bottom of this Cookie Policy. The cookies that we are allowed to place without permission for the website to function will still be placed.

Cookies on our webshop

3.1 Various types of cookies can be placed via our webshop, which can be divided into three categories: (i) functional cookies, and (ii) analytical cookies and (iii) advertising cookies, including tracking and social media cookies. In accordance with the law, we will only place analytical and advertising cookies if you have given your permission for this via the cookie notification or, without your permission, if the analytical cookies have little or no impact on your privacy. Functional cookies can also be placed without your permission.

3.1.1 Functional cookies are cookies that enable you to use our webshop and its functionalities. These cookies are necessary for the functioning of our webshop and are placed when you open our webshop or click on a relevant functionality. For example, think of cookies that are necessary to remain logged in to our webshop while shopping.

3.1.2 Analytical cookies (such as Google Analytics) measure how our visitors use our webshop. With this information, the use of our webshop can be analyzed, and reports and statistics can be generated about the use of our webshop. This allows us to improve the quality or effectiveness of our webshop measure and improve how we present the content to you.

3.1.3 Advertising cookies (including tracking and social media cookies) from third parties for example, keep track of which advertisements you have seen from us and / or third parties via our webshop or via third-party websites and whether you have clicked on them. If you have given permission for this, we (and the relevant third parties) can use the information obtained through the tracking and advertising cookies to follow your internet behavior on our webshop and on third-party websites. This allows us to show you relevant advertisements and products and to make personal offers on our webshop and on third-party websites based on your interests and we keep track of which third-party websites you have shopped with us.

The social media cookies make it easier to share information via social media and - if you are a member - receive more relevant offers when you share something or comment on social media. Social media cookies also make it possible for the social media provider to track your internet behavior. We have no control over this and are not responsible for this.

You can of course always withdraw your consent for these cookies, via the cookie settings at the bottom of this Cookie Policy.
