What is electric bike leasing?

Leasing an electric means that you ride a new Veloretti for a fixed monthly amount, without a large upfront investment. A standard lease lasts 36 months, during which your employer deducts a fixed amount from your gross salary each month to pay for the bike. On top of that, you get to ride the latest electric and enjoy full service and maintenance throughout your lease period.

Benefits for employers

Employers who offer electric bike leasing invest directly in the well-being and loyalty of their teams. Because the scheme falls outside the Dutch work-related expenses scheme (WKR), it provides administrative ease with no tax or financial impact. And by choosing Veloretti, your company takes a clear step toward more conscious commuting.

Advantages for employees

Leasing an electric means convenience, value and premium design. Thanks to favourable tax benefits, you ride a premium e-bike for a lower monthly cost. At the end of your lease, you choose whether to purchase your Veloretti at an attractive price. One fixed monthly fee covers everything: insurance, maintenance, repairs and roadside assistance, keeping every ride effortless.

Is leasing an electric through your employer advantageous?

Absolutely. The lease is not subject to the WKR, which means you pay less tax. Combined with included maintenance and insurance, it is more economical than buying. So you can ride a premium electric for a fraction of the purchase price.
